CBD: A Modern-Day Messiah

The CBD industry has been tagged one of the fastest growing industries of the decade. Projected to hit a value of about $16 billion dollars by the year 2025 in the United States alone, it's no wonder many industries and sectors are looking to diversify with CBD in their sights. But the real question is; why?

There's a lot of clapback when it comes to the issue of hemp. The more notorious THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), has been an issue of contention between pot users and law enforcement. Only recently has the hemp Industry been seen as a viable one in terms of revenue, science and all other sectors.

Let's face facts. A lot of people consider anything related to hemp, or as they say "weed", as illegal or just not right. Pot users are already tagged as miscreants or breakers of the law. However, CBD can and has been changing that point of view for some time, and that's due to its many benefits.

CBD is the younger offspring of the cannabis sativa plant, and while the older and more common THC has a rap sheet for getting users high or intoxicated, CBD's benefits work in the opposite direction. Here's a few of them:

❖    Pain Reliever: anyone familiar with the use of marijuana is aware that it is highly useful in the treatment of pain, especially in cancer patients. Well, here's a fun fact; CBD is one of the reasons for that. In addition, CBD has been proven to be useful in the treatment of pain and discomfort associated with diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. CBD pain medication can be applied through topicals and pills

❖    Bye-bye Anxiety and Depression: depression and anxiety are in the top six contributors to disability in the world, according to WHO. Regular medication for treatment comes with a bucket load of side effects that are on the nasty side. However, CBD has shown to be even better at treating anxiety, managing depression and even PTSD, without things getting ugly.

❖    Great For The Heart: several studies have shown that CBD has immense benefits for the heart, including preventing heart damage and reducing blood pressure.

❖    No Room For Diabetes: several applications and studies around CBD usage have come with the conclusion that CBD may be effective in the treatment and incidence of Diabetes by a large percentage. It's also useful for the reduction of inflammations

❖    Smooth Skin. Clear Face: CBD oil applications are not only centered on the medical or the nutritional. Acne is a serious facial and skin condition for over 9% of the world's population, but with CBD that may very well be a thing of the past. CBD reduces the secretion of facial oils, and has anti-inflammatory qualities, and can help reduce acne. CBD skin care products are also great at revitalizing and reviving skin, a

The applications for CBD oil are numerous, and everyday there's a new potential being discovered. It's safe to say CBD might be a long-lasting answer to many questions of everyday life.
