Mixed Micron Hash Rosin (aka "Bubble Hash") is a cannabis extract made without using any solvents. It's produced by extracting cannabis resin from fresh-frozen cannabis buds using ice water or dry ice. Then, the extracted resin/bubble hash is pressed at low temperatures to separate the essential oils from the plant material. Finally, the resulting product is left to cure at low temperatures to preserve its flavor and potency.

1. Harvesting & Flash Freezing

Plants are harvested at a specific time to maintain hemp compliance. The freshly harvested buds are immediately flash-frozen within 5min of harvest to preserve their terpene and cannabinoid profiles from degrading. 

2. Extraction
   

The frozen buds are then processed into hash. This is done with ice water extraction, where the frozen buds are mixed with ice and water in a series of bags with different micron filters. The ice water bud slurry is mixed and stirred. The agitation breaks off the trichome heads, which then sink to the bottom of the bags.

3. Pressing

Once the hash has been extracted, it's collected and freeze-dried to remove water, preserve terpenes, and cannabinoid profiles. Then the dried hash is pressed to further concentrate it. This step involves applying pressure and low temperature to the hash, using a rosin press, to squeeze out the essential oils while leaving behind plant material.

4. Cold Cure: 
   

After pressing, the resulting live rosin is left to cure at low temperatures, usually around 40 degrees. Cold curing helps preserve the volatile terpenes and cannabinoids, resulting in a more flavorful and potent final product. The curing process can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

5. Packaging & Storage

Apotheca cures the product in the fridge until that batch is sold. It is then packaged when product is sold in airtight containers to protect it from light, heat and moisture. Proper storage is essential to maintain the quality and freshness of the hash over time.
